VOTE NO ON 1

Your vote NO on Houston Proposition 1 protects women’s and children’s rights to privacy in public restrooms, showers and locker rooms. #KNOWPROP1

MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION

Proposition 1 proponents claim it is about equal rights, but a closer look reveals a hidden agenda that allows any man or boy to enter a public restroom for females just by declaring female as their "gender expression". Read the full proposition before voting.

LET’S LEARN FROM MISTAKES

Other cities and states with these laws have seen sexual predators use them to violate and hurt women and children. Mayor Parker’s “Equal Rights" ordinance could be used by heterosexual, sexual predators who pretend to be transgender to gain access to public restrooms.

THERE ARE EXISTING EQUAL RIGHTS LAWS

All discrimination protections in Proposition 1 already exist in city, state and federal law. This ordinance only serves to impose sexual orientation, gender identity/expression and genetic information as protected classes with centralized power of investigation, fines and punishment under one person - the Mayor*
